Born Mena Buren, on October 22, 1923, in Colby, Kans., she went to be with the Lord on October 1, 2007.
She married Harold Benson on May 15, 1944, who preceded her in death in 2006.
She worked for First National Bank in Medford from 1959, and retired in 1982. She was a CNA at Villa Royal, and Grandma Willie at White City School.
She is survived by her sister, Mamie Sease; her son, David Benson; daughter, Candy Oyler; grandchildren, Roger and David Neidenbach, Larisa and Nathan Benson, Erik, Leif, and Bjorn Osberg; Lars and Ulrika DePriest, and Raymundo Benson; and several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by daughter, Linda.
A graveside service was held at Hillcrest Mortuary on October 5, 2007, officiated by Pastor Olson of Bethel Church.
