William Gird Warne

William G. "Billy" Warne, 81, of Eagle Point, Ore. passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 in Medford, Ore. He was born March 18, 1933 in Orange, Calif. to Raymond and Mildred Warne. William and Kathy were married October 13, 1967 in Santa Ana, Calif.
William lived in Eagle Point from 1982 until his passing. He was a rancher and horse trainer. He bred Quarter Horses successfully for 62 years and was a member of Oregon Reining Horse Association, the National Reining Horse Association and the American Quarter Horse Association. William is survived by his wife Kathy Warne; son, Dana Warne of Eagle Point; daughter, Shelley Warned of Eagle Point; sister Mary Gilbert of Placentia, Calif; grandsons, Chritian Warne, Mason Warne, and James Warne all of Eagle Point, and great- grandson, Jaxon Warne of Eagle Point. He was preceded by his daughter, Janet Lanning; mother; Mildred Logsdon Warne; and father, Raymond Warne.
