Wayne Smith Clymer, age 82 years passed peacefully at his home on Saturday, May 5, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 21,1935 in Bridge, OR to parents Glenn D. Clymer and Carol Jo Smith.
Wayne resided in Eagle Point, OR. He served as a Radioman 1st Class in the US Navy. He worked locally for Medco Corp. then later for Scala Electronics. He enjoyed Ham Radio, the outdoors, Oregon coast and Jackson county Search & Rescue. Wayne married Joyce Staats on June 26, 1964. They had three children; daughter Teresa (John) Hyde of Parker, CO., son Ken Clymer of Medford, OR and daughter Cynthia (Randy) Weeks of Medford, OR., five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and his sister Barbara Hutchinson of Eagle Point, OR. He was preceded by his parents, and a sister Dorothy.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00PM Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Hillcrest Memorial Chapel, 2201 N. Phoenix Rd, Medford, OR 97504. He will be laid to rest in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford, OR.
