Virginia Ethelyn Phillips
Virginia Ethelyn Phillips, of Medford, Ore. and Yuma, Ariz., passed away March 3, 2010, in her home in Yuma. She was born June 17, 1923, in Clatskanie, Ore.
Before retirement Virginia worked as a real estate agent and broker in Medford and Salem, Ore. She belonged to the Methodist Church, the SKP and Good Sam RV clubs and the VFW Auxiliary. Virginia was an avid RV'er for forty years, visiting nearly every state in the continental U.S. and several Canadian provinces. She loved crafts of all kinds, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and making pine needle baskets.
Virginia is survived by her sons, Terrance Phillips, of Stockton, Calif., and Michael (Judi) Phillips, of Mazatlan, Mexico; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by husband of 63 years, Kenneth Phillips.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel, Medford, Ore. Arrangements are being handled by Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, Medford, Ore., 541-773-6162,
