Verner "Bud" McCall, 77, of Eagle Point, Ore. passed away peacefully Sunday, March 10, 2013, surrounded by family and friends. Bud was born November 15, 1935, in Portland, Ore. to Vern and Maxine (Livingston) McCall. He graduated from Medford High School in 1953 and earned his associates degree from OTI in 1955. On August 6, 1954, in Medford, Ore., he married Donna L. McCay.
Bud was an owner/operator of VHQ Auto Body, and a Kadel's Auto Body partner. He was active in the Rogue Valley Street Rods and Oldtimers Motorcycle Club. The hobbies he loved were family reunions, traveling, motorcycle racing, street rod shows, building hot rods, camping, backpacking, and NASCAR. Bud took special pride in his seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife, Donna Lee; two sons, Verner McCall Jr. of Boulder, Colo. and Steve McCall of Oregon City, Ore.; two daughters, Robin (Kim) Lockwood of Beaverton, Ore. and Jill (Rob) Allshouse of Creswell, Ore.; brother, Tom (Sheryl) McCall of Prineville, Ore.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
