Valerie will be missed and memories of her will be fondly cherished for the rest of our lives.
She is survived by her husband, Rob; two sons, Greg and Gary; four grandchildren, Dillon, Kaylen, Riley, and Reese; her mother and father, Ralph and Dorothy; and sister, Vrenda.
She was active in church with children, music and women's ministries. Her work allowed her to show her special talents of leadership and sincerity. She was CEO of Lake Arrowhead and La Quinta Chamber of Commerce for a total of 14 years. Though she never sought the spotlight, she received many accolades and acknowledgements to include Woman of The Year, and special recognition from Senator Bruelte. Most of all she was passionate about her faith in Jesus Christ and shared that love with family and all she met.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at the Methodist Church in Etna, Calif.
