Tony Marin passed away on May 22, 2020. He was born to John and Angela Marin on November 24, 1925 in Weed, California.
Tony and Inez Cattuzzo were married on September 7, 1946 in Hilt, California. He worked for Fruit Growers Supply Co. at an early age up until the mill closed down in 1973. He had many jobs but ended as a certified Lumber Grader. When Tony and Inez moved to Talent he continued to work as a lumber grader for Double Dee Lumber Company and Medco Corp. until retirement in 1986. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener, who could feed the whole city of Talent from his garden. After retirement, Tony and Inez traveled with their trailer to Brookings, Oregon where they spent their summers crabbing and fishing.
Tony was preceded in death by Inez, his wife of 62 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Lynn Anderson (Roy), grandsons Michael and Jason Anderson, Connie Lewis (Jack), grandsons Tony and Adam Lewis. Five great grandchildren, Owyn Anderson, Kara Davis, Cayden Lewis, Madison Lewis and Marin Lewis.
