Tamra Riley was born July 26th, 1963 to Al and Sherry Hines and passed away July 26th, 2012 at the age of 49. She lived a short, but full life, starting with the birth of her brother Scott, June 24th, 1966. As a child, Tamra enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, hunting and camping. She traveled with her family to many places such as the Yellowstone National Park. She graduated high school in 1981 from North Medford High with high honors. Tamra met her late husband shortly after and they were married June 18th, 1983. Her first child, Eugene was born August 20th, 1984; Joshua was born May 8th, 1987 and her daughter Victoria just a couple years later, January 7th, 1989. She moved with her husband to California City, but moved back to her hometown to be with her family. Tamra suffered the loss of her husband November, 1999, but met her long time companion, Derek Morton. In 2008, Tamra was overjoyed to become a grandmother. And just one year later suffered the tragic loss of her father, whom she was very close. She lived the rest of her life doing what she loved; spending time with her family, gardening, canning, crocheting and quilting. Tamra enjoyed live music, reading, writing, being a mother and grandmother. She was a strong, loving, compassionate person that will be missed by many. Tamra is survived by; her mother, Sherry Hines; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Candy Hines; Uncle and Aunt, Bob and Judy Fellows; Uncle, Jerry Fellows; Aunts, Vicky Burtis and Clarine Hackett; Cousins Jennifer, Lori Davenport, Jennifer and Rachael Fellows; nephew, Michael Hines; sons Eugene and Joshua Riley; Daughter, Victoria; granddaughter, Isabella Artas and her life-long partner Derek Morton. Services were held Wednesday, August 1st, 2012 at the Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel. Reception following at 2950 Phillips Way, Central Point.
