Sylvia Lee Visser

Sylvia Lee Visser, 90, passed Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford. Sylvia was born July 19, 1920 in Ashland, KY. to James Allen & Elizabeth(Sammons) McDavid. In 1948 she married George Donald Simmons who preceded in 1968. In 1978 Sylvia married John Visser who passed in 1998. She and John came to Medford from Long Beach, CA. in 1982. She enjoyed painting and gardening. Sylvia is survived by three sons; Dave Simmons of Grants Pass, OR., Jim Simmons of Medford and Jerremy Simmons of Medford a brother Kline McDavid of Chino, CA. She was preceded by her parents, two husbands, brother Kern McDavid and a sister Georgia Yokum. She will be laid to rest next to John Visser in a private ceremony at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Medford, OR. Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary in care of arrangements
