Susan Lovee Meany

Susan Lovee Meany, age 67, of Phoenix, OR. Passed Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Springfield, OR., from complications of cancer. She was born June 29, 1944 in Benicia, CA. to Oren (Pinky) & May Roderick. In July of 1980 in the community of Clearlake, CA. Susan and Cornelius John "CJ" Meany were married. They came to the Rogue Valley via Neskowin, OR. And Applegate, OR. They are currently members of Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church in Ashland, OR. Susan enjoyed softball, gardening, Rving in the outdoors and cooking for family and friends. She and "Con" loved to travel, they spent many joyful years on the road meeting and making new friends across the country. Susan worked hard to be one of the first female Technicians to be hired by the Exxon Oil Refinery in Benicia. She is survived by her loving husband CJ Meany of Phoenix, OR., son Curtis Foster and his wife Heather Long of Pioneer, CA., four grandchildren; Blake Foster, Brad Foster, Katlynd Long and Hailey Long. Two great grandchildren James Foster and Ellizabeth Ann Marie Foster, two sisters; Jeanne Weaver of Nice CA. and Ora May Martinez of Applegate OR. Susan was predeceased by two sons; Darren Foster, Dean Foster and sisters; Norma Poole and Dora Lee Walker. Funeral Mass to be held by Fr.
