Skylar Dane Dixon

Skylar Dane Dixon was born June 22nd, 1992 in Medford, Oregon.
On June 15th, 2024, Skylar passed away unexpectedly after an overnight fight against heart failure, leaving us all shocked and devastated. Neither Skylar himself nor his family were aware of his condition.
He leaves behind his mother, Stephanie Dixon and Dorian Jeffries. His brother Virgil Stickney III. His sister, Shawndra Stickney and Alastair Simpson. His loving fianc�, Daisy Blanco. His father, Dexter Craig Staniforth. And many cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, and extended family members and friends that were all very precious to him. He always reminded us how much he loved us.
The painful loss of this gentle, thoughtful, loving soul will be felt deeply by us all for the rest of our lives.
His wishes were cremation. Family and friends will be gathering for his "Birthday Celebration of Life" on June 22nd, 2024 (his birthday) at Colver Park in Phoenix at 11am.
We've rented the park until 6pm, so if people can't make it for the kick off with cake and story sharing, they can still join us later for cornhole and horseshoes.
In lieu of flowers, a Go-Fund-Me has been set up to help the family with the unexpected expenses. Donations are graciously appreciated.
