Ruth Ann Hayes

Born June 1, 1939 in Erie, Kansas to Charles and Sarah Coggins she moved to Oregon at age 3 and graduated in Medford, OR. Ruth married William C. Hayes on June 30, 1957. Ruth played violin, piano and sang like an angel. She loved church hymns and Tennessee Ernie Ford. Her favorite flowers were iris and orchids and she was active in Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. She was leader of peck-n-scratch 4-H Club and liked to paint and do calligraphy. Ruth loved hummingbirds.
Ruth is survived by her husband William Cleve Hayes, brother Eugene (Judy) Coggins of Medford, sister Sylvia (Jim) Smith of Florence, son William (Barbara) Hayes of Jacksonville, daughter Paula (Rick) Vick of Payette, Idaho, 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
