Roger Imus Jr., 63, of Gold Hill, OR. passed Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at his home. He was born Dec. 3, 1947 in Stockton, CA. to Roger & Dorothy(Armstrong) Imus Sr. In 1990 he married Dayle Shellabarger Imus who survives. Roger came to the Rogue Valley in 1980 from Eureka, CA. He drove truck locally for Irv Bettendorf, Cross Creek, Gordon and GMC Logging. He had been an instructor with ITTR truck driving schools. Roger served his country honorably in the US Marine Corps. He enjoyed riding motorcycles & ATV's, working in his shop, was a bullriding rodeo fan and loved his great grandchildren. In addition to Dayle he is survived by his mother Dorothy Marie Imus of Gold Hill, OR., daughter Connie(Quenton) Tritchler of Medford, OR., son Mike(Kayree) Imus of Medford, OR., son Ray Imus(Kristy Kenyon) of Phoenix, OR., son Jeffery Imus(Jason Byers) of Medford, OR., stepson Robert(Jennifer) Shellabarger of Syracuse, NY., step daughter Mysti(John) Jacob of Rogue River, OR., stepson Luke (Crystal) Shellabarger of Klamath Falls, OR., a sister Lauri Dugall of Modesto, CA, 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Roger was preceded in death by his father and a grand daughter. Memorial contributions are suggested to Wild Life Images. His ashes will be placed at Eagle Point National Cemetery, Eagle Point, OR. A Memorial service will be held on May 6, 2011, 2:00 pm at the Eagle Point National Cemetery, in Eagle Point, OR. Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary of Medford in care of arrangements.
