Robert Francis Whitney

Robert Francis Whitney, 69, of Phoenix, Oregon passed away peacefully at his home Friday, February 11, 2011 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He was born November 15, 1941 in North Bend, Oregon to Robert Eugene & Beverly Jean(Flanagan)Whitney. On October 15, 1986 in Reno, NV. he married Bonnie Kay Whitney. Robert and Bonnie owned & operated long haul trucks. They spent many enjoyable years driving and experiencing the country together. He drove for Interstate Distributors of Tacoma, WA. the last 25 years. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and his family. He served honorably with the US Army and was a member of the Eagles Lodge. Robert is survived by his wife Bonnie, daughter Susan(Steven) Flores of Puyallup, WA., brother Gordon Naylor of Talent, OR., brother-in-law Bill(Wanda) Cary of Phoenix, OR., sister Suzanne Krewson of Shelton, WA., Mother-in-law, Annie Delaunay, Talent, OR. 6 grandchildren; Angela(Jaime)Haugen of Auburn, WA.,Jennifer(Juan)Villa of Medford, OR., Brian(Sanda)Estey, Scott(Kristin)LAmpman of Auburn, WA., Bobby Wingert, Josh Lampman of Auburn, WA. great grandchildren; Brandon Jones, Marissa Sandova, Michael Sandoval, Rosalinda Sandoval, Charlotte, Jayde, Allissa and McKayla, great great grandchildren; Ryan Brown, Andrew Brown, Tyler Haugen, Tristen Sandoval, Josiah Villa, Noemia Villa,Metallica, Kimber, Cayden, Nieces & nephews; Rodney, Janie, Cary, Brittany Angela Oliver, William George Cary, Melody Cary, John(Nevalee)Knopp, JoAnna Lyn, Melodie Cary, DeEtta Cary, Jolene Cary, Marquel Cary, Ciara Adams, Karen West, Yvonne Cary. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and son Robert Lee Lampman. Graveside services will held Friday, February 18, 2011 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford, OR.
