Robert Bell 74, unexpectedly went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 29, 2013. He was born September 6, 1939 as an only child to Rex and Lucille Bell in Marshall Missouri. He moved with his family to Southern California during WWII. He met the love of his life, Janette Bailey, in 1955 and they were married in Norwalk, California, in the summer of 1958. He served in the United States Coast Guard Reserves. His first daughter Bobbi was born in 1960, followed by daughter Donna in 1962. He worked for Bethlehem Steel until the family decided to move to the Rogue Valley in 1968. Over the years, he worked for Cascade Wood Products, on the Alaska Pipeline, Rogue Valley Medical Center, as well as building a mobile home park.
Bob enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. He and Janette loved going on cruises and traveled extensively throughout the world.
He is survived by his loving wife Janette, daughters Bobbi (Duane) Schneider of Roseburg, Oregon and Kami Donna (Jason) Rose of Medford, Oregon. Six Grandsons Craig Rydholm and Daniel Stone of Peoria, Arizona, Robert, Timothy and Logan Stone of NYC, and Anthony Schneider of Roseburg, Oregon, and a grandaughter, Miriya Stone of NYC. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Rex and Lucille Bell.
A Celebration of his life is planned for Saturday, October 5, 2012 at 2PM at Hillcrest Mortuary, Medford, Oregon.
