Raymond Lovell Yow of Medford, Ore. passed away June 9, 2007 at his home with all his family at his side.
He was born in Stigler, Okla. to Claude and Annie (Clay) Yow on July 23, 1913. He grew up in Checotah, Okla. He moved to Eugene, Ore. in 1944. There he met Betty Brock. They were married on February 5, 1948. In April they moved to Roseburg, Ore. Then in 1967 they moved to Medford where he worked with his brother of Yow's Heating & Sheet Metal. Raymond retired in 1975.
Ray was a great husband, a wonderful father and a very loving grandfather to Barry, Lauren and Derek.
Raymond was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth and Ethmer of Checotah, Okla. and Elvis of Indio, Calif.; and a sister, Louise Hart of Checotah, Okla. Raymond is survived by his wife, Betty, of 59 years; a son, Randy and a daughter, Lynda LeCuyer of Medford.
An inurnment will be in Roseburg, Ore. at the Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are handled by Hillcrest Mortuary of Medford.
