Phyllis Loraine Smith, age 88, of Medford, Oregon passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018.
She was born to the late Edward and Anna Bauer on November 20, 1930 in Golden Valley, North Dakota.
Phyllis was a graduate of Lodi High School in 1948. She married Richard Smith in Arkansas on September 6, 1950. They moved to Medford, Oregon in 1955 to be close to family.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter Debbie (Pete) Evans, daughter Pam Spencer (Gino Morosin) son Rick (Linda) Smith and 3 grandchildren Matt, Jenna, and Kyla and 5 great grandsons, Michael, Jackson, Owen, Carter, and Harrison. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Alice Mason, and husband Richard.
We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Phyllis, among them: Never throw away boxes, bags, jars or old pantyhose. Always keep ingredients for orange jello salad in the house. Drink coffee with friends, watch the Hallmark channel, and grow yellow roses. Leave your hearing aids at home when you go to dinner with the great-grandsons
