Norma June Lemley
One of eight children, Norma was born on January 12, 1923 in Devon, Kansas to parents, Norman and Maudie Caray. She is survived by her sister Wanda Pyzer of Cameron, Missouri and her four loving children, Marlene (Vern) Baty, Don (Jeanette) Miller, Mike (Sandy) Miller and Melissa (Ed) Dunlap, all residing in the Rogue Valley, as well as her five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She worked in the hospital care and service industry, for a span of more than fifty five years, providing others with their dietary nutritional needs. Beginning with Sacred Heart Hospital of Medford, OR, next for the Veteran's Administration of White City, OR and eventually retiring from Rogue Valley Medical Center of Medford, OR. Her many hobbies included cards and crossword puzzles, cooking and sewing. She liked traveling, very much enjoyed reading and belonged to a weekly pinochle club in Ashland. Norma was a beautiful, vibrant lady with a feisty spirit, who also had a great sense of humor. She was much loved by her large family as well as the many friends that she made during her sixty years in the Rogue Valley that she called home. She will be greatly missed, fondly remembered and will always be with us in our hearts. Private family services and interment have been held at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary, Medford, OR.
