M.F. "Ruth" Sullivan
M.F. "Ruth" Sullivan, 86, of Medford, Ore., died November 2, 2007 in Medford.
Ruth was born June 30, 1921, to Claud and Louisa Bridgeman, in Couer de'Alene, Idaho. She grew up in Pasadena, Calif., and moved to Medford in 1942. On August 12, 1942, Ruth married John Sullivan in Medford. She was a bookkeeper in the audit department at Sears for 21 years. Ruth played the organ and piano music with the Nazarene Churches and loved knitting. She won first place at the California state fair for her knitting, knitting 52 sweaters in one year.
She is survived by her husband, John Sullivan; sons, John Sullivan, of Boise, Idaho, and Chuck Sullivan, of Sublimity, Ore.; daughter, Louisa Pasquesi, of Beaverton, Ore.; sister-in-law, Marciel Worrall, of Seattle, Wash.; grandsons, Ezra Buteva and Cary Sullivan; and great-granddaughters, Kylie Sullivan and Emma Butera.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Novemeber 6, at 11:00 a.m., at the 1st Church of the Nazarene, Medford. Pastor Kevin Gowland will be officiating.
