Hale, (Alice) Maxine T. (Alice) Maxine T. Hale
(Alice) Maxine T. Hale, 84, of Medford, Ore. passed away on May 11, 2007 at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on May 13, 2007 at Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel. Pastors Jay Wolfman and Kim McDonald of Word of Life Christian Fellowship, 1314 B Center Drive, PMB 177, Medford, OR 97501, will be officiating .
Maxine was born in May of 1923 in Havaco, W. Va. to Willard J. and Myra Jane Tolley. She married Robert C. Hale (who survives) on February 25, 1941.
She was a practical nurse/medical assistant. She graduated William McKinley High School in Canton, Ohio in 1940. She attended Southern Oregon college for one year. Her hobbies included crocheting, singing, walking, volunteering, reading and church activities. She was a member of and served as president of CMAA. She was also a part of First Baptist Church (50 years) and Word of Life Christian Fellowship.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her sons, Randall C. Hale and James W. (Bill) Hale, both of Medford, Ore.; daughter, Bobbie Weatherill of Port Orchard, Wash.; brother, Fornie Tolley of Canton, Ohio; eleven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
