Martha Alice Blank

Martha Alice Blank, age 91, of Medford, Oregon passed away on Friday, November 11, 2011. She was born August 7, 1920 to Martin & Lydia (Wood) Baker in Emery, Wisconsin. Martha came to the Rogue Valley from Wisconsin in 1951. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Martha enjoyed playing piano, bridge and was in numerous bridge clubs, she also loved fishing. She was a member of the Rogue Valley Friendship Club. She had worked at both Rogue Valley Medical Center and Providence Medical Center. Martha is survived by her daughter Catherine Ness of Medford, OR., sons, Roger Blank of Medford, OR., James Blank of Medford, OR., Jerrall Deitrick of Eagle Point, OR., Robert Blank of Williams, OR., Samuel Blank of Central Point, OR., 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband Robert Blank, parents, Martin and Lydia Baker, daughter Carol Ann Blank and son Thomas Dietrich Baaken. A viewing will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel, 2201 N. Phoenix Rd., Medford, OR., Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 3-7 pm. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, Nov. 18, 2011.
