Margaret E. Taylor, 81, of Medford, Ore., passed away Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009 at her home. A Viewing will be held Thursday Aug. 6th from 4-7:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford. A funeral service will be held Friday, Aug. 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Celebration of life immediately following. Father Cary Reniva, of Sacred Heart Church, will officiate. Margaret was born Jan. 18, 1928 in Denver, Colo. She moved from Wyoming in 1970 and lived in the Phoenix/Medford area. She worekd as a medical technologist and later was a Pastoral Minister at Sacred Heart Church. She had a bachelor of science degree in chemistry and biological sciences. In her freetime she enjoyed gardening, ballroom dancing, roller skating and playing cards. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Gary Varner. She is survived by her son, Dan Taylor and his wife, Sam, of Roatan, Honduras; daughters, Margaret N. Taylor, Barbara Varner, both of Medford, Ore. and Marcia Dalrymple and her husband, Fred, of Central Point, Ore.; sister, Mary Herbel, of Las Vegas, Nev.; and grandchildren, Elizabeth, of Seattle, Wash. and Jared, of Anchorage, Alaska.
