Lynn Winters Mcneil

Lynn W. “Mac” McNeil, age 95 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 30, 2019. He was born Sept. 11, 1924 in Council Bluffs, IA to parents Wayne L. & Frances J. (Larsen) McNeil. Mac served honorably in the US Army during WWII. He then worked in the aerospace industry until his retirement. He married Edithe Margaret Lawson in 1952 who preceded him in death in 1972. He later married Virginia Hedges in 1976 who preceded him in death in 2013. Mac had two loving daughters with Edithe: Linda M(Rick) Wolfish of Williston, VT and Susan D(Mike) Cady of Medford, OR; and three grandchildren, Ian Cady, Ben Cady and Diana Wolfish. Mac also had two dear stepsons with Virginia: David Hedges of Ben Lomond, CA, and Stephen Hedges of Santa Cruz, CA. Mac had many dear friends including Emily & Paul Cato of Ben Lomond, CA, Jan Filice of Santa Cruz, CA, and a special cousin Marjorie Lidgett of Wichita, KS. Mac lived the past 6 years with much love and care at Pioneer Village in Jacksonville. He will be laid to rest with military honors in Eagle Point National Veterans Cemetery, Eagle Point, OR. Rest in peace Pops. We all love you a bushel and a peck and hug around the neck!
