Luree M. Danielson was called home to the Lord, Thursday, December 29 at Avamere Three Fountains nursing home. She was born April 29, 1921 in Naper, Nebraska to Fred and Mary Herrmann. During the early 1930's her parents moved the family from Nebraska to Minnesota. She completed her education in Bemidji, Minnesota, where she met and married Alford L. Danielson. When her husband returned from the service in 1946, they moved to the Rogue Valley with their daughter, Roberta. Luree was a full time homemaker and in the following years two sons were born to the couple. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alford, her daughter, Roberta and her granddaughter Laura DeVos Penkala. She is survived by her sons, Robert D. and Robin B. Danielson, two grandchildren and six great grandchildren as well as four brothers, three sisters and many nieces and nephews. A Private viewing.will be held on Wednesday, January 4th, 2012 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel, 2201 North Phoenix Road, Medford, Oregon 97504 to follow with a Graveside Service on Thursday, 2:00 pm, January 5th, 2012 at H!llcrest Memorial Park.
