Louise B. Bailes

Louise Belle Bailes, age 86, of Eagle Point, Oregon passed Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at her home. Louise was born April 4, 1925 in Perry, Iowa to Raymond Everet & Frances Marcella(James) Bailes. In 1942 in Monett, MO. she married Oren Earl Bailes who preceded her in 1992. Louise and Oren came to the Rogue Valley in 1983 from Walnut Creek, CA. She had worked at Capwells Dept. store in Walnut Creek and later was bookkeeper at the family Chevron Station in Pleasant Hills, CA. Louise and Oren had two sons; Terry O. Bailes of Ione, CA., and Carl Raymond Bailes of Turlock, CA., 4 grandchildren; Todd Bailes, Loren Bailes, Anna Bell and Terri Bailes-Carrier, 13 great grandchildren; Ashelyn Corey, Courtney Oliver, Austin Oliver, Jake Bailes, Bryant Bell, Dustin Bell, Joshua Carrier, Mariah Bray, Meghan Bailes, Jacob Ellis, Zach Ellis, Isabella Ellis and Alyssa Bailes. In addition to Oren she was preceded by her parents and a sister Naomi Roby. She was laid to rest next to Oren in Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2201 N. Phoenix Rd., Medford, OR 97504.
