Linda Kay Straub

Linda Kay Straub, 64, of Phoenix, Ore., passed away on January 8, 2012. She was a lifelong resident of the Rogue Valley. She was born in Marysville, Calif., on January 1, 1948, to Crafton and Pauline Holden. She attended schools in Murphy, Jacksonville, and Medford, Ore. She married Ross LeeRoy Straub on October 2, 1965.
Linda was an avid bargain shopper for toys and collectibles, and liked yard sales and auctions. She enjoyed attending church, reading, traveling, and gambling. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ross; three sons, Harold Ross, Tony, and Scott; son-in-law, Jim Dow; daughters-in-law, Stacy and Carrie; several grandchildren; five brothers; and three sisters. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Dow; and her father, mother, four brothers, and one sister.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012, 3:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, 2201 N. Phoenix Rd., Medford. Visitation begins at 2:00 p.m.
