Linda Mae Caldwell

March 9, 1940 — August 1, 2013

Linda Mae (Norris) Caldwell, 73, passed away on Thursday August 1, 2013. Born March 9, 1940 in Medford Oregon to V. Aubrey and Claire (Coleman) Norris.
A graduate of Medford High. Married to Bill Caldwell August 28, 1981, they combined loving families to include 9 children in total. James Shull (deceased), Julie Shull, John Shull, Kristin Gossett-Clauer, Lisa Caldwell-Moscovitz, Lori Ferrarin, Lynda Clarke, Lana Caldwell and Lance Caldwell. She leaves behind 16 grandchildren that adored her, and her loving brother John Norris.
Linda will be remembered as an adventurous, caring, loyal, and loving wife, mother, and friend. She was an amazing woman who could go from the farm fields to a dance floor without skipping a beat, or changing heels. Like her mother before her, she was a true renaissance woman with a wonderfully outgoing spirit, rivaled only by her compassion and complete devotion to her family and friends alike. Our Linda was remarkable and humble; always there for anyone in need, from the birth of a newborn to a loved one experiencing chemo treatments. She was active in helping her community and neighbors, The United Way, school board, and Rotary among them. Her incredible eyes and bright smile would light up any room. To say she will be missed is an incredible understatement.
Her tender heart, and her rugged will are honored by living our best life today. We will keep her in our hearts and minds forever.
A remembrance service will be held at The First Presbyterian Church in Medford, Oregon on Thursday August, 8, 2013 at 2 pm.
As a token of remembrance we ask instead for donations to be made in her honor to the Restoration Fund at the First Presbyterian Church at 8th and Holly.
