Lillian Augusta Meyer (Damon)

Lillian Augusta (Damon) Meyer, age 89 years, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at her home in Eagle Point surrounded by family and her loving caregiver, Janice Weaver.
Lillian was born Nov. 27, 1927 to Lloyd and Elda (Farlow) Damon. She was raised on the family ranch near Lake Creek. She graduated from Eagle Point High School.
On Feb.19, 1946 she married Harold Meyer. They lived their entire lives in the Eagle Point area. They had 5 children: Elaine Steele of Springfield,OR., Gloria Atwood of Springfield, OR., Gary (Jeanna) Meyer, Don (Kari) Meyer of Christmas Valley, OR. and Helen (Art) Morgan of Roseburg, OR They had 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 siblings, her husband Harold and their son, Gary Meyer. She is survived by her son, Don, daughters, Elaine, Gloria and Helen and her brother, Jim Damon.
The family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Janice Weaver for the loving care she gave our Mom for the past 1 ½ years and to Signature Hospice.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, April 9th at 2 p.m. at the Lake Creek Pioneer Hall. Refreshments will be served.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lake Creek Historical Society or Signature Hospice in memory of Lillian.
