Leonard Francis Negles
Leonard Francis Negles, 88, of Eagle Point passed Sunday September 26, 2010. Leonard was born on January 12, 1922, in Harding, Colorado, to Joseph V. and Ruby(Jones) Negles. He lived in the Rogue Valley since his early childhood. Leonard served honorably in the US Army during WWII. In April of 1953 he married Velda Jean Willems who preceded him in 1996. Leonard drove truck and delivered freight locally. One of his many accomplishments in life was building his own home. He enjoyed fishing. Leonard will be greatly missed by all who knew & loved him. Survivors include two daughters; Christine Negles-Carter of Eagle Point, OR. and Clover Negles of GA., brother Ronald Negless and sister Betty Hammond of Medford, OR. 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Medford, followed by graveside services at 1:00 pm Friday, October 1, 2010.
