Lena Mae "Gran" Shaw
Lena Mae "Gran" Shaw, 84, of White City, Ore., passed away peacefully on July 16, 2008. She was born on Jan. 18, 1924, in Sweetwater, Texas, to Thomas and Monie Dykes.
She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1946. She was married in Grants Pass, Ore., on June 7, 1947, to Albert Marvin Shaw.
Survivors include her children, Rita Kotsios (Sam), of Medford, Ore., Virginia Jett (Craig), of Eagle Point, Ore., Betty Kay Zenk, Mikel Shaw (Roberta) and Delena Oden (Loren), all of White City, Ore. She is also survived by three brothers living in Texas.
She had 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Marvin Shaw, one granddaughter, five brothers and three sisters.
She loved her family. Everyone will miss "Granny."
A viewing will be held by her family on Saturday, July 19, from 3 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford, Ore.
Her graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 20, at 10am, at Brownsboro Cemetery, Brownsboro, Ore.
