Lena Juanita Lemanczyk, 96, went home to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ on September 29, 2007, at 3:00 p.m., at Skylark, in Ashland. A memorial service will be held at Harvest Baptist Temple in Medford, on October 6, 2007, at 11:00 a.m.
Juanita was born on August 25, 1911 in Idabell, Okla. She leaves behind her sisters, Waurayne Gibson, and O'Retha Cox, both of Medford; five children, 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. She was a 18-year member of the congregation at Harvest Baptist Temple, and one of the greatest joys in her life was crocheting afghans to raise money to support the church's missions ministry.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the loving care provided by Skylark of Ashland, and the Rogue Valley Hospice Center.
We will all miss you.
