Lawrence E. Bailey, 85, of Gold Hill passed away, Wednesday, March 5, 2008.
Born in Portland, Ore., on June 30, 1922 to parents, Ernest and Margaret Bailey. Lawrence retired from the bakery business after 42 years.
His hobbies included gardening, model trains, camping and gold dredging.
Survivors include long-time companion, Madeline Bozenski; son, Tim Bailey; stepson, Ted Bozenski and wife, Meachell; sister, Betty Miller; grandchildren, Kim Smith, Kevin Smith, Sandy Bailey, Jordan and Colin Bozenski; and great grandchildren, Lauren and Nicholas Smith, Chip Estrada and Jason Haring.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 26, 2008 at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, located at 2201 N. Phoenix Rd., Medford, officiated by Chaplain John Braund.
