Katie Florence Moore, 81, of Medford, Oregon passed Friday, May 21, 2010. She was born Feb. 1, 1929 in Stephenville, TX. to John M. & Maud M.(Turner) Galbreth. She married Vernon Oscar Moore who preceded her in death. Katie enjoyed her long time position at Harry & David Corp. retiring in 1997. She was a very good bowler winning many local awards as well as traveling to many tournaments and events. When failing health forced her to stop bowling she had many years of pleasure joining friends for bingo. She enjoyed being with her family and dinners at her favorite restaurants. Katie is survived by five sisters; Ruby Wilhite of Heavener, OK., Bobby Badgewell of Mena, AR., Patsy Perminter of OK. City, OK., Ann Hicks of Texarcana, TX., and Jean Wright of Mena, AR., four children; son Francis J. Moore of Montgomery, TX., son Jesse Ray Moore of Medford, OR., daughters Sharon Elaine Gourman of Klamath Falls, OR., Verna Dean Titchen of WA. 14 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Services will be held 12:00PM Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford, OR. Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary in care of arrangements. www.hillcrestmortuary.com
