Joyce Alene Grissom

Joyce Alene Grissom, 91, of Medford, Ore., passed away at her home. She was born in Medford June 24, 1922 to William and Gladys Jenkins. Joyce graduated from Chaffee High School in Ontario, California. On June 25, 1940 she married Tommy F. Grissom in Yuma, Arizona. She had lived in the Rogue Valley since 1946. Joyce worked as a florist, but was also a painter and artist , a member of the Old Time Fiddlers, and a member of V.F.W. Joyce is survived by one son, one sister, two brothers, and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy. A funeral service is planned at 2:00 pm Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Hillcrest Chapel. John Mack of the Gospel Tabernacle will officiate.
