Jack Dillon, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away at his home in Medford, Oregon, on Wednesday, November 12th, 2014. He was surrounded by loved ones at the time, and is remembered by countless family and friends for his generous nature, his great sense of humor, his garage sale prowess, his love of drag racing and his lifelong commitment to the love and care of his family and friends.
Jack was born on May 31st, 1942, in Cucamonga, California. He was married to Judy Dillon for over 50 years and they lived in Southern Oregon since 1990. Jack is survived by wife Judy, sons Joe, Jon, Jeff and wife, Shelley, four grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
Jack drove truck for E.L. Yeager Construction Company for over 25 years before retiring in 1992. Entrepreneurs by nature, Jack and Judy also spent many years buying and selling goods at garage sales and swap meets.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, John and Pearl Dillon, his brothers, Jerry and Larry, and his sister, Loretta Dillon. Part of a large family, Jack will be dearly missed by brothers, Doyle, Billy and Jimmy, as well as sisters, Rose Marie, Diane, Diana and Trish.
A funeral mass will take place at Hillcrest Mortuary 2201 N. Phoenix Road, Medford, OR on Monday, November 17th, at 10:00 am. A viewing and recitation of the rosary will take place on Sunday, November 16th, between the hours of 3:00-7:00 pm.
