Joanne Susan Grillo, 60, of Central Point, OR lost her courageous battle against pancreatic cancer on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at her home. She was born June 9, 1955 in Arlington, VA. to Victor & Maria (Mediros) Armstrong. She came to the Rogue Valley from Arletta, CA. Joanne was a medical transcriptionist at Providence Medford Medical Center. She was a member and sang in the choir at 1st Church of the Nazarene. There she met her husband Alex Grillo who survives along with a daughter Amber Gaither and a son Trevor Gaither both of Medford, her mother Maria Armstrong of Arletta, CA. a brother Mike(Rhonda) Armstrong of L.A, CA and two nieces.
Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the 1st Church of the Nazarene. Memorial contributions can be to your favorite charity. Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary in care of arrangements.
