James Henry Cunningham IV, age 87, of Medford, Oregon passed on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at his home with his family by his side. He was born March 6, 1925 in Roseburg, Oregon to James Henry and and Mary Margaret (James) Cunningham III. James married Ruby Fae Arnold on April 7, 1957 in Medford, Oregon who survives.
He served honorably as a Sargent in the US Army during World War II. They are a members of the Seven Day Adventist Church. He had worked for an Auto Parts Store for 32 years. James enjoyed hiking, computers, photography and the Lottery.
He and Ruby have four children; son Charles Cunningham, Coalinga, CA., daughter Joyce Tupy of Crescent City, CA., son Bryan Cunningham of Yellville, AR., daughter Melissa Worden of Central Point, OR., a sister Mary Margaret Badley of Jacksonville, OR., 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 6 nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services with military honors are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel, 2201 North Phoenix Rd., Medford, Ore. Interment will be in Eagle Point National Cemetery.
