Ima Jean Cook, 79, of Central Point, passed away on October 15, 2007 at her home. She went to be with her Lord. Ima was born April 23, 1928 to Roy and Vinnie Fletcher in Muldrow, Okla.
She, along with her husband, George L. Cook and son, Gary W. Cook moved to Grants Pass in 1964. Together they started Cook's Portable Toilet Service, which is still in operation today.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, George L. Cook.
Survivors include her son, Gary Cook; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on October 19, 2007. Arrangements are by Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary, Medford. 773-6162.
She will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
