Idamae Elizabeth Armstrong, 86, of Eagle Point, passed away on March 27, 2007, in Medford.
Idamae was born to Theodore and Mae Bormet on September 27, 1920 in Blackstone, Mass. She married Roger Armstrong in 1942 in Boston, Mass. They moved to the Rogue Valley 20 years ago from Franklin, Mass.
Idamae worked for Lockhead until her retirement in 1987. She belonged to the American Legion Post #15 in Medford.
Idamae is preceded in death her by parents, and her son, James L. Armstrong.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Armstorng, of Eagle Point; sons, Roger M. Armstrong Jr., of Hespara, Calif., and Theodore L. Armstrong, of Mead View Ariz.; daughters, Peggy M. Kern, of Grants Pass, Betty E. Armstrong, of Eagle Point, and Carolyn A. Wilson, of Calif.; sister, Viola Beach, of Foxboro, Mass.; 9 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel in Medford. Chaplain Paul Murphy will be officiating.
