Henry Franklin Tilford
Henry Franklin Tilford, 89, of Medford, died Sunday, November 11, 2007 at Ashland Community Hospital.
Henry was born November 20, 1917 in Seligman, Mo., to Larry Tilford and Laura (Bryson) Tilford.
He moved to Oregon from Missouri in 1938, living in the Rogue Valley for the remainder of his life. Henry married Mary Ethel Tilford on June 4, 1943, in Medford, Ore.
Henry was a mill worker, retiring from McGerw Brothers Saw Mill. His favorite hobbies included fishing, camping, cooking, and being with family.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary; son, Randy Tilford; 2 daughters, Caroline Caudill and Lorraine Zelich; sister, Florence Buckman, of Rockford, Ill.; brother, James Tilford, Buffalo, Mo.; also nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Roy Tilford, Guy Tilford, and Eldon Tilford.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel, 2201 N. Phoenix Rd., Medford, Ore. Family members will officiate. Arrangements by Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mortuary, Medford, Ore., www.hillcrestmortuary.com .
