Haden Douglas "Doug" Neely

Haden "Doug" Neely, 78 of Phoenix, OR. passed on Wednesday, May 11, 2011. He was born in Claude, TX. on March 2, 1933 to Russell & Juanita (Blue) Neely. Doug married Cheri Marie Alexander in Yuma, AZ. on Nov. 5, 1955, enjoying 56 years of marriage. He served honorably in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. Doug and Cheri moved to Phoenix in 1992 after Doug's retirement of 20 yrs. with Kern County, CA. as a building inspector supervisor. He was a very intelligent and interesting man with degrees in electrical, plumbing, & building. Doug enjoyed fishing and building things. He is survived by his wife Cheri, Phoenix, OR., three sons Ron Neely, Phoenix, OR., John Neely, Phoenix, OR. & Brett (Christina) Neely, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two sisters Glenda Ispas, Phoenix, OR., and Ellie Moore, Phoenix, OR., a brother Don Neely, CA. A memorial service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, May 14. 2011 at the Harvest Baptist Temple in Medford, OR. Memorial contributions can be made to the Harvest Baptist Temple Missionary Fund, 2001 S.
