A funeral service for Georgetta E. Ulrey will be held on Monday the 17th of March 2008 at 12:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel, 2201 N Phoenix Rd., Medford.
Our mom passed away March 10, 2008 at the age of 80, at her residence of Ashley Manor Cottage.
Mom was born on December 10, 1927 in Alhambra, Calif. On July 25, 1943 she married our dad, Buster, in El Monte, Calif. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1971 from southern california.
Mom enjoyed working as a checker for Coles Market in California and then as a checker for Woolworths in Medford. In her later years she worked for Harry & David's for 10 years before retiring. She loved to camp and fish with her children and grandchildren and going on church outings with her friends.
She is survived by her children, Sylvan of Eagle Point, Wes of Gold Beach, Jimmy of Central Point, Wanda Morley of Texas, Carol Walters of Grants Pass, and Debbie Ulrey of Roseburg.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Janice Van Ek and all of Mom's caregivers at Ashley Manor Cottage.
