Geneva "Ginger" Cox

Ginger (Geneva) Cox passed away in Medford at Northridge Senior Living July 9th, 2022 at the age of 93.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill. She is survived by her daughters Patricia, Sharon(Charlie) and son Bill (Debi), her 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Ginger was born in Dexter, Texas. Her family moved to California where she met her high school sweetheart. They were married and eventually moved to Oregon to continue their life adventure.

Ginger had a career in school food service in California and Oregon and retired from the Central Point School District. To stay busy, she cooked and baked for restaurants in the valley for many years.

It was rare to find Ginger's hands idle. She loved to sew, quilt and crochet as long as her eyesight allowed. She was an avid reader of books and read daily. Ginger shared her love through her food--baking amazing pies and goodies. Her potato salad recipe will be passed on for generations. Most importantly, Ginger loved her family and found her joy in their happiness.
