Gary Marvin Hess

Gary Marvin Hess, devoted & loving husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the Village at Valley View, Ashland, Oregon from complications of Alzheimer's disease. He was 81 years old. Gary was born Feb. 9, 1940 in St. Paul, MN to parents Marvin & Lillian(Witzel) Hess. On Sept. 3, 1961 in Denver, CO. he married Joy Louise Dilley who survives. Gary moved his family from the mountains of Colorado to the plains of Wyoming in the summer of 1973. He loved welding and started his welding career with UHaul trailers in Denver and eventually started his own business before relocating back to WY.
In addition to Joy he is survived by three children; son Keith(Doris) Hess of Casper, WY., son Greg(Tracy) Hess of Otto, WY., and daughter Kim(Wayne) Sheid of Lovell, WY., four grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents and a sister Millicent Clark.
