Gene Fredric Wolf, 83, of Medford, Ore. passed away May 1, 2015 at RRMC. He was born February 2, 1932 in Merced, Calif. to George and Celia (Osband) Wolf. Gene and Carol (House) Wolf were married August 30, 1969 Medford.
Gene moved to Medford in 1964. He had a Masters in Education and taught for 25 years at Wilson and Roosevelt Elementary Schools. Gene served in the U.S. Army at Fort Ord, Calif.
Gene enjoyed skiing, world travel, gardening, reading, and good wine! He was a volunteer at Habitat for Humanity and a member of the Mt. Ashland Assoc.
Gene is survived by his wife, Carol Wolf; son, Jason Wolf; daughter, Kelly Main; brother, Marvin Wolf; and three grandsons. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; and brother, Stanley Wolf.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Temple Emek Shalom, 1800 E Main St., Ashland. Rabbi Joshua Boettiger will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity, Medford or Mt. Ashland Assoc
