Edward Ulysses Patchett

Edward "Ed" Patchett, 79 of Medford, Oregon passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford. He was born March 25, 1934 in Palo Alto, California to ulysses A. Patchett and Marjorie G. Bickley. In 1959, he married Paula Patchett, who survives.
Ed served honorably in the U.S. Army. He owned and operated Medford Auto Electric and was an ASE certified auto mechanic. He enjoyed being a Early Day Picker and was a member of the Southern Oregon Military Vehicle Club.
Survivors, in addition to Paula, include three sons, Glenn Patchett of Eagle Point, Oregon; Ray (Kelly) Patchett of Chino Hills, California and David (Machel) Patchett of Medford, Oregon and six grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the Hillcrest Memorial Chapel, 2201 N. Phoenix Road, Medford, Oregon. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Garden of Honor.
