Earle Reid, 85, of Medford, Ore. passed away January 13, 2013 at Orchards Assisted Living in Medford, Ore.
Earle was born January 21, 1927 in Chicago, Ill. to Samuel and Carolyn Reid.
He was int he U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of Alcoholic's Anonymous and enjoyed fishing, knitting, crocheting and bingo.
Earle is survived by daughters, Bonnie Teliz and Janet Oglesby, Waukegan, Ill.; a stepson, James Powell of Medford, Ore.; sister, Carole MacKenzie, Medford, Ore.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Earle was preceded in death by Violet (former wife) and Georgiann and four brothers.
The viewing is at 11:00am followed by funeral services at 1:00pm Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Hillcrest Mortuary Chapel. Tim Olson of Bethel Church will be officiating.
