Earl Cooper
Earl Cooper, 94, of Medford, passed away May 25, 2007.
He was born January 14, 1913, in Holiday, Ark., to Clarence and Hattie Cooper, who preceded him in death.
He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1950; he worked as a mill worker and farmer. On October 3, 1964, Earl married his wife, Frances, in Reno, Nev. She survives.
Earl enjoyed gardening, poker, pool and checkers.
In addition to his wife, Frances, Earl is survived by sons, Earl Cooper Jr. and Bill Cooper of Central Point; daughter, Shirley King, of Medford; a sister, Elsie Ingram, of Corning, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 30, at 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel in Medford. Pastor Bob Roth of First Nazarene Church officiated.
