Dorris Valnoma Edmondson

Doris Valnoma Edmondson, 95, of Grants Pass, OR. passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2009. She was born May 18, 1913, in Barney,GA. to Vassie & Cleo Nichols. She married James William Edmondson in Quitman, GA. on June 16, 1935, who preceded her in 1989. They had two daughters Jeannette Rigdon & Sarah Edmondson. Doris worked at the Hotel del Coronado, in San diego, CA. as a cashier. She enjoyed her gardening. Besides her Daughters survivors include a brother Huron Nichols,of GA., a sister Janilda McKinnon, of GA. five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew & loved her. A Graveside service will be held Friday,March 20, 2009, 2:00pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park , Medford, OR.
