Donna R. Madsen, 84, of Gold Hill, Ore. passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at her home with her family. She was born July 20, 1929 to George and Ruth Dewey in Mt. Pisqah, N.C. On March 3, 1966 she married Donald E. Madsen in Las Vegas, Nev.
Donna enjoyed fishing on the Rogue River. She loved to travel and cook for family and numerous friends. She especially enjoyed her time spent with friends and family at Seven Feathers Casino and Resort.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Don Madsen; children, Kyle Kelley of Gold Hill, Ore., Diana Blackburn of Ventura, Calif., Lynn Birch, of Green River, Wyo. and Cheryle Madsen-Stockle of Santa Margarita, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2014 at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Bishop Terry Clemente of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will officiate.
Mom, you are forever in our hearts. We will miss you dearly, until we meet again.
